The role

We’re Looking for a Procurement Specialist

At YossiG, a Procurement Specialist isn’t just someone who tracks shipments or fills purchase orders.

You are the calm beneath the chaos.

You don’t just order things. You orchestrate timelines. Negotiate like a diplomat. Liaise like a legend.
You speak fluent vendor, designer, and logistics, and you can translate between them all with grace.

You’ll be the point person from the moment an item is specified to the moment it’s styled into place.
You’ll source pieces from across the world and still know which crate got delayed because of a warehouse mix-up in New Jersey.

You’ll juggle budgets, balance spreadsheets, and still remember that the custom marble side table needs to arrive before the sofa.
You’ll work hand in hand with our design team to ensure every item aligns with the design intent.

You’ll update the team, flag delays, resolve issues, and coordinate white-glove delivery with the ease of someone who doesn’t panic under pressure, but performs.

Who you are

  • An organized, detail-driven professional who knows how to keep a hundred moving pieces in perfect order.
  • A natural problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and finds solutions before small issues become big problems.
  • A confident communicator who knows how to navigate relationships with vendors, designers, suppliers, and logistics teams.
  • A skilled negotiator who understands pricing, lead times, budgets, and the importance of getting every detail right.
  • Someone who understands the world of high-end interior design and the level of precision required to bring it to life.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines without losing track of the details.
  • Proficient with spreadsheets, procurement tracking systems, purchase orders, and budget management.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and accountable, with the ability to anticipate delays and stay several steps ahead.
  • Someone who takes ownership from beginning to end and understands that exceptional execution is just as important as exceptional design.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the procurement process from initial specification through final delivery and installation.
  • Source furniture, lighting, materials, finishes, and custom pieces from local and international vendors.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, confirm specifications, and ensure pricing, quantities, finishes, and dimensions are accurate.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and purchasing terms with vendors and suppliers.
  • Track orders, production schedules, shipping timelines, and deliveries across multiple projects.
  • Maintain detailed procurement schedules, budgets, spreadsheets, and order documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with the design team to ensure every purchase aligns with the approved design vision.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, manufacturers, freight companies, and receiving warehouses.
  • Identify delays, damages, discrepancies, and backorders, resolving issues before they impact project timelines.
  • Coordinate receiving, storage, white-glove deliveries, and installation logistics.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure purchasing stays aligned with financial expectations.
  • Provide clear, consistent updates to the design team on order statuses, outstanding items, and upcoming deliveries.
  • Ensure every item arrives in the right condition, at the right place, and at the right time.
